Importance of good practices
Good practices enable team to work more productively and more effectively together. I am going to aim write about these in order to share my knowledge about good practices.
I am extremely busy these days working on different projects, hence my slow down in the blogging frequency.
The most important fact (I suppose) is that I have been prevented from blogging for a good and productive reason (more about developments here in short future).
What has become prominent to me in last few weeks (for about 100th time) is the importance of good practices.
When I say good practices, I mean good practices all round: from project management, using correct and standardised web technologies, coding to good standards, making accessible pages, keeping good documentation and communicating well.
Keeping as closely as possible to the suggested good practice guidelines is keeping me sane in the moments of high volumes of work which need to be carried out as well as enables me to work more productively and with less pressure with other members of my team.
Being about to keep to good practices also means that one has to be aware of them and needs to know what they are and keep them in mind at all times when working on projects.
What I have decided to do is to write a series of articles which will cover this matter of good practices and which will talk about many different, every day, web design and project management tasks which enable myself and people I work with to work better, faster and more productively.
This resource will be useful for other people who will want to know how to work better on web projects, but also for my future co-workers, who will be able to use the resource in order to develop their own understanding about how to best work on web projects.
Please post any comments about some topics perhaps which you think I should cover and which would be useful to read about.
I am more than happy to write about anything people see as useful, required and relevant.
