Many new businesses find themselves in an unusual situation of feeling 'cocooned' without knowing who to approach for friendly advice and some useful contacts.
Over past year or so I have been in touch with a lady called Katie Moore, from Business Start-up Community in London, a vibrant network of new business start-ups which organises various highly relevant and useful events and networking sessions for new business owners.
Business events and conferences are excellent places to promote a business, trial out a business idea or a concept and see what other people are working on who are good candidates for potential collaboration.
If you are lacking ideas about how to promote your business or gain new clients I would highly recommend attending as many various business events (most of the ones organised by Business Start-up Community are free and very worth while).
Singing up as a user (for free) at the Business Start-up Community will give you access to some highly relevant freebies while will help you with your business planning, but will also ensure that you are kept in the loop of various and numerous business events that are taking place throughout the amazing City of London and within UK.
I couldn't make the last business conference where Katie also attended since I was suffering from one of the many flu viruses which one can easily pick up on the London Underground, but the next event I am determined to attend, so, please do join up and lets meet at the next Business Start-up Community get-together and talk business.
