Promotional pens
I am sitting here in my office late at night look at a Christmas card and a whole other bunch of paper (even though I hate paper) under which somewhere deep down is burried a promotional pen.
On the pen is written the address of my company in full with the season's greetings. The company which sent me this bunch of fancy paperwork is based somewhere in USA (it seems). They have written so much text onto the promotional letters that it scares me to even look at it, letalone try to read it.
This is one of many, many promotional pens which I have obtained from many companies which offer promotional pens to businesses. I think I now have about five different promotional pens all with the full address for Flexewebs printed on them.
Some of the pens have the name of the company (Flexewebs) printed on it too, and I have even spoken to a lady who works for their sales team asking me 'when am I going to finally make a big order?'.
Pens?! Hmmm... Ok. Good pontential marketing tool for the company, but we are all about Internet, modern media, digital, no paper (did I say Internet?), modern ways, networking, etc. And noone so far has managed to put our domain name on any of the promotional pens. Sad!
Now I am stuck here looking at a pen which I have got for free, I don't like it, someone else has wasted money and time to send it to me, they did no research to find out what I want and they will probably want me to buy some more.
All I am going to do about the pens is to wait for the right company that does promotional pens who will read this specific blog post which I have now dedicated to companies which make promotional pens and as soon as they send me a sample of a promotional pen with the domain name of my company on it, only then will I make 'a big order' and that is a promise.
So I dare all the promotional pen making companies to read this post about how to and how not to make promotional offers on promotional pens and 'hit me' with the right sales pitch once and for all!
One more tip if you want the business: I only want my company's domain name printed on it. I like things kept simple and Internet oriented!
