Different levels of knowledge

I am starting a new blog about knowledge in order to try and discuss some more subtle aspects of working in today's business environment.

Thinking about those things which I do not know about can sometimes be very scary.

Only after completing my MSc degree did I really start understanding how little we (as individuals) know and how much we still need to develop in terms of knowledge and intelligence.

In business environment when it comes to knowledge noone has a holy grail and it is important for all the individuals to learn and remember that.

A team approach to problem solving and decision making enables people to harness the team synergy and achieve goals faster, easier, with more pleasure and to the higher quality standard.

Why do so many people forget about this in today's offices? Why are so many people so selfish to 'preserve' their knowledge to themselves?

Why do so many people pretend to know more than they do? Why are so many people thinking that they know more than they do?

Why should it be wrong to admit that one does not know something? Is that shameful? Do people differentiate between those who churn numbers out and those who are dealing with wisdom and more longer term knowledge of the matters?

What is the real knowledge we should all be looking to develop in our lives?
