Google fascination

Google fascination

Google, the fastest growing company of all time, is worthy of having its own dedicated blog on our web site.

I would like to write about Google and the latest developments at the company, as I notice that many of the Google analysts are missing some of the important strategic observations about Google and its moves forward.

I follow the stories about Google and the developments at the company and am fascinated to see what those working at Google are up to and how they are thinking about the future of Internet, information and knowledge.

Maybe it is important at this point to outline the fact that I was also at one point interviewed by Google for a position of European Analytics consultant.

Google contacted me for this position and offered me to be interviewed by them (through a 7 stage interview process) for this very interesting and highly important consultancy position.

I had gone through 3 stages of interview and did not go further, due to a certain mis perception I had about Google, which I commented on and (personally believe) which got me down in the 3rd stage of the interview.

Through this process I learned plenty about Google, what they do, how they work and what their style of operation is.

I believe it will be worth while sharing this information with the world and enabling some very creative discussion around the topic.

In my thinking about business and Internet, I am happy to pull in lessons from anywhere, lessons which make sense and add value to business (especially small to medium enterprises).

Google, considering its huge business and Internet success, cannot be a bad place to start from with my and everyone else's analysis of the matters.
