Hi Antoneth,
You should not use tables to build web sites with as they were not intended for that. Only use tables where you are dealing with tabular data. Also I would avoid using Dreamweaver and try hand coding your HTML, as that's the best practice also, giving you the most control over your code.
Good luck with your course and hope you continue to learn about best practices in this field.

Hello Jason,

I do not own a website, but I hope to some day.

I am taking a course in webdesign and everything is all so new to me. On checking the internet for information relating to the tag I clicked on your site, which is very informative.

I was wondering if you could provide some insight to a problem I am having, we have learned how to use the "html" basic codes. Now we have learned the create a webpage using table, but I am not sure if I should put the body tag and h1 tag within the table or not, could you explain this to me?

Also, I have learned that the text of a webpage goes in the of the document, how does that work using Macromedia?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Antoneth
